A life long lover of nature, I studied Space Science and Natural Law in
colleges, then eventually got addicted to mining Herkimer Diamonds in
upstate New York, and had to sell some so I could go dig more. Thus this
biz was born. My interest and talent for metalsmithing found opportunity
to bloom, and it's provided a good excuse for travelling. [EG to the
worlds major gem markets in Thailand and India, etc]

I've been studying gemstones professionally every day for over 20 years now, refining my perception and understanding to an unusually high level, and have become masterful at cutting and setting gems as well.
